博天堂官方, sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet, 奥尔巴尼省, is chartered by the Board of Regents of New York State. All of its degrees and programs are registered and its professional programs fully approved by the Board of Regents through the New York State Education Department. The College is also approved by the Board of Higher Education to the Office of the Secretary of State to offer the Educational Leadership & Administration Master of Science in Education; the School Building Leader Advanced Certificate; and the School District Leader Advanced Certificate, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Accreditation ensures that education provided by institutions of higher education meets acceptable levels of quality. Accrediting agencies develop evaluation criteria and conduct peer evaluations to assess whether or not those criteria are met. 美国.S. Secretary of Education recognizes accrediting agencies that the Secretary determines to be reliable authorities as to the quality of education or training provided by the institutions of higher education and the higher education programs they accredit. There are two basic types of educational accreditation: institutional referring to an entire institution, and specialized or programmatic referring to the evaluation of programs, 部门, or schools which usually are parts of a total collegiate or other postsecondary institution.

博天堂官方 is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) www.msche.org. 博天堂官方’s accreditation status is Non-Compliance Warning. MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). More information is available here.

The 商学院 at 博天堂官方, inclusive of its degree programs at the bachelor’s and master’s level, 是由 Accreditation Council for Business Schools and 项目; the Communication 科学 and Disorders program at the master’s level is accredited by The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology ; the master’s level School Psychology Program at 博天堂官方 is approved by the National Association of School Psychologists; the School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational 项目 (CACREP); and the bachelor’s and master’s programs in Social Work are accredited by the Council for Social Work Education, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. These specialized accrediting agencies are recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Association.
